PC Summer Nursing Academy

SNHS nursing students are invited to enroll in the PC Summer Nursing Academy after their first academic year. During this immersive 8-week experience, students live on campus and work three 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) each week at local hospitals as licensed nursing assistants, where they are introduced to patient care in the acute care hospital setting. Summer Academy students also participate in seminars with nursing leadership at the hospitals, team building, and some summer fun!

Students earn a competitive salary along with valuable clinical experience. Costs and restrictions apply, and details are updated annually.
