PC Summer Nursing Academy

SNHS nursing students are invited to enroll in the PC Summer Nursing Academy after their first academic year. During this immersive 6-week experience, students live on campus and work three 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) each week at The Miriam Hospital as Certified Nursing Assistants, where they are introduced to patient care at this leading acute care hospital. They also participate in leadership seminars, team building, and some summer fun!

Students earn a nice salary along with valuable clinical hours. Costs and restrictions apply, and details are updated annually.

It is a special time on campus as this is the first time nursing students don their new gray scrubs and head off to their shifts, with plenty of nervous excitement!
